Tomokazu Sugita (杉田 智和 Sugita Tomokazu?) is a seiyū who was born on October 11, 1980 in Saitama. He is employed by Atomic Monkey; his bloodtype is B. He has alleged rivalry with Tomokazu Seki, as indicated in some episodes of Lucky Star. Not surprisingly, three of Sugita's characters have strong interactions with Seki's: Yuuichi Aizawa from Kanon (2006), Kagami Mikage from Ayashi no Ceres, and Hideki Motosuwa from Chobits, to Seki's Jun Kitagawa, Alex Howell and Hiromu Shinbo, respectively.
Sugita and fellow seiyuu Narita Ken are sometimes referred to as "brothers", although no one really knows why. During an Omaera No Tame Darou event, hosts Morikawa Toshiyuki and Hiyama Nobuyuki asked Sugita how they were similar. His answer was that both of them rarely blink, making eye-to-eye contact with either a frightening encounter.
