Tommy Manship (born March 27, 1987[1]) is an English football (soccer) defender currently playing for League One side Cheltenham Town F.C.. Manship joined the club after a successful trial in the Summer of 2007 from the non-league Conference North side Hinckley United F.C..[1]

Manship's career had started as a youth player in West Bromwich Albion F.C.,[1] but upon failing to secure a professional contract at the club, Manship moved to Mansfield Town F.C. for a two-year apprenticeship in 2003.[1] At the end of the apprenticeship he was released by Mansfield, joining Hinckley in 2005, and remaining there until his 2007 move to Cheltenham Town.[1]

Manship has only sparingly been a part of the Cheltenham team, featuring most frequently as part of the reserves, where has versatility his proved useful during injury crises.[1]
