Thomas Henry Kane (born January 14, 1964 in Montreal, Quebec) is a former professional American football player who played wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks from 1988 to 1992.
Prior to playing in the NFL, Kane played football colleigatly at Syracuse University. After playing for Seattle, Kane played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
On November 30, 2003, Kane stabbed his wife Tammara Shaikh to death, eventually pleading guilty to manslaughter for the act. Canadian Superior Court Justice Fraser Martin described Kane as "narcissistic" and "manipulative" and sentenced Kane to 18 years[1] in prison for the deed.
