Tommy Hottovy (born July 9, 1981 in Parkville, Missouri is a baseball player who is a starting pitcher in the Red Sox organization currently assigned to the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs. He is listed as 6' 2", 195 lb, he bats left handed and throws left handed.
Hottovoy was drafted by the Red Sox in the 4th round of the 2004 amateur draft out of Wichita State in Wichita Kansas. He made his minor league debut at the short season A team Lowell Spinners before moving on to Wilmington and then the AA affiliate the Portland Sea Dogs where he has spend 3 seasons going 6-14

Hottovy's fast balls sit in the high eighties and has a good curveball and a adequet changeup. Hottovy also has suffered from control problems throughout his career.[1]
