Tom Webb is a young striker currently playing for Colchester United. Along with Tom Devaux and Anthony Wordsworth, he was awarded a professional contract with the club in the summer of 2007, having come through the club's youth system. He has regularly played for the Colchester United Reserve Team during the 2007/08 season and made his first appearance for the first team, coming on as a substitute in the League Cup game against Shrewsbury Town on 14th August 2007. [1] For the 2007/08 season he was given the number 29 shirt.
At the end of February 2008 he began a one month loan spell at Folkestone Invicta a team currently playing in the Ryman Premier Division (also known as the Isthmian League Premier Division).[2]
