Thomas William Thacker (aka "Brown Tom") (born 11 April 1978, in Langley, BC, Canada) is the lead singer and guitarist of the Canadian punk group Gob. He is currently also Sum 41's touring guitarist/keyboardist/backing vocalist.
Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1994.
Tom is featured along with Theo in Treble Charger's Hundred Million video. He was revealed to be the one showing his buttocks, putting to rest the rumors that it was Avril Lavigne.
Thacker has been in couple of movies, Going the Distance and Sharp as Marbles. He also appeared in canadian cartoon show Being Ian as himself, in episode "Band o' Bruthaz". According to View Magazine, Thacker's biological father is John McEnroe.

[edit] Gob (1994-present)
Thacker is the lead vocalist and one of two guitarists in the punk rock band Gob. He formed the band with Theo Goutzinakis on lead guitar, Wolfman Pat Integrity on drums, and Kelly Macaulay on bass. They released their debut, Self-Titled in 1994. Since signing a deal with Nettwerk and EMI, the band has released five studio albums. The current bassist and drummer, Tyson and Gabe, joined the band after the band went through several other bassist and drummer. He uses Fender Stratocaster and also Gibson Les Paul.
[edit] Sum 41 (2007-present)
Thacker is currently also Sum 41's touring guitarist after Sum 41 lead guitarist Dave Baksh announced in a statement that he was leaving the band to work with his new band, Brown Brigade. With Sum 41, he generally plays a Gibson Les Paul, which was a gift from Deryck upon him helping the band.
