Thomas "Tom" J. Rielly is the Iowa State Senator from the 38th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2004.
Rielly currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Commerce committee; the Economic Growth committee; the Local Government committee; the Agriculture committee, where he is vice chair; and the Transportation committee, where he is chair.
Rielly was elected in 2004 with 14,679 votes, defeating Republican opponent Neal Schuerer. [1]
