Tom Pukstys

Tom Pukstys (born May 28, 1968 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois) is a retired javelin thrower from the United States, who represented his native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics (1992 and 1996). A six-time U.S. javelin champion, his personal best is 87.12, thrown in 1997.
His parents came to the U.S. from Lithuania in 1949. He broke his first American record in June 1993 and has a degree in public relations. He attended the University of Florida.
