Dr. Thomas E. "Tom" Price (born October 8, 1954) is an American politician. He has been a member of the Republican caucus of the United States House of Representatives since 2005 representing the 6th Congressional District of Georgia (map), based in the northern suburbs of Atlanta.

He was born in Lansing, Michigan, and graduated with an M.D. from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta and decided to stay there afterwards. He ran an orthopaedic clinic in Atlanta for 20 years before returning to Emory as assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery.

He was a member of the Georgia State Senate from 1997 to 2005, serving as minority whip from 1999 to 2003 and majority leader from 2003 to 2005. He was the first Republican majority leader in the state senate since Reconstruction.

When 6th District incumbent Johnny Isakson declined to run for reelection in order to run for the U.S. Senate, Price entered the Republican primary for the seat. He was opposed by five other candidates, including fellow state senators Robert LaMutt and Chuck Clay, both of Cobb County. He placed second in the first round of the primary and then faced LaMutt in a runoff and decisively defeated him. Since no other party filed a candidate, Price's primary victory assured him of a seat in Congress.

Price won the 2006 Republican primary election over challenger John Konop and defeated Democrat Steve Sinton in the general election.

Price is a Presbyterian.

Price is married with one child.
