Tom Kowalski, nicknamed The Killer (after former professional wrestler Killer Kowalski), has been the Detroit Lions beat writer for the better part of two decades. In addition to writing for Booth Newspapers, Kowalski also contributes to MLive.com and updates his blog, the Lions Bulletin. As part of his role on the site, Kowalski answers questions from Lions fans and attempts to be a voice of reason in the Lions chat room. He often takes a controversial analysis, such as when he stated that 90 percent of the Lions offensive ineptitude in 2005 was attributed to Joey Harrington, and also that the Lions were talking about cutting Harrington before anyone else had reported it.
He can be heard on his weekly radio show on Thursday nights on WDFN during the season and seen on FOX2's pregame show.
