Thomas Hill (born 1950) was a British musician, shop keeper and song-writer, famous for his part as Bass Guitarist for the glam rock band, Geordie.
[edit] Early life
Thomas Hill was born as one of four children in Newcastle, England. At Newcastle main school for boys, Hill was a good student who excelled in music and drafting. Hill was influenced by the music of pub songs, folk songs, the skiffle of the fifties and sixties and his uncle, John Hill, a talented accordion player and singer. Hill was guitarist for the school band at one point but soon left.

Hill joined the band, Geordie in 1970 as Bassist and help write the song, Hope You Like It. He spent the next five years as bassist until the band broke up in 1978.
