Tom Gamboa

Thomas Harold Gamboa (born February 28, 1948 in Los Angeles, California) is a coach in Major League Baseball.
Gamboa is best known as the Kansas City Royals first base coach who was attacked on the field by two fans, a father and son, during a game against the Chicago White Sox in 2002.
He was the Chicago Cubs third base coach in 1998 and 1999 and the Royals first base coach from 2001-2003.
