Tom Brett

Tom Brett, D.O., BSc(Hons), LLM (Medical Law).

Tom Brett worked in the petrochemical industry for over twenty years before training as an osteopath. He qualified with a Diploma in Osteopathy (DO) in 1989 and practised in Cumbria, England, full time until 1998. His clinic was voted in the top twenty clinics in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Therapy's competition two years running in the early nineties. He qualified as a podiatrist in 2002 and a master of laws in 2006.

Tom practises a range of therapies including joint manipulation, general footcare and insole therapy. His titles are Podiatrist, Master of Laws and Master Bonesetter. He was awarded the title Master Bonesetter in 2006 by Unified Bonesetters Ltd, the UK's incorporated regulator, for the development of Brett's Procedure, a gentle method of adjusting the facet joints in the neck.

As well as being in practice, Tom also lectures on medical negligence, risk management, consent, expert witness issues and manipulation.
