Tom Benford (b. 1949-10-05) is a prolific American author, writer, songwriter, musician, photographer, videographer and editor with over 1,000 published magazine articles and authored more than 10 books. He has written on myriad subjects ranging from computer science to music to automotive topics and photography and videography. A New Jersey native, he has resided in the Garden State all his life and currently lives with his wife of 30 years, Liz, and their German Shepherd dog on a 4+ acre estate on the New Jersey shore in Ocean County.
An avid collector car enthusiast, he has authored several books on the subject, and he and his wife currently own a stable of six Corvettes and a 1933 Dodge street rod. Benford is also an ASCAPlus award-winning songwriter, having been honored with ASCAPlus awards for more than ten consecutive years. He currently has an instrumental CD of his original songs, Some Things I've Done, available through digital distribution venues. His album is on the Kildrummy Records label.
