Tom Arnold (economist)

Tom Arnold is an Irish economist and Chief Executive Officer of Concern Worldwide[1], an international humanitarian relief and development organization.
Born in Ireland, he attended Trinity College and has Masters Degrees from the Catholic University of Louvain.
Prior to his appointment at Concern Worldwide in 2001, Arnold served as Assistant Secretary General of the Irish Department of Agriculture and Food and on the United Nations Hunger Task Force.
Arnold is also a member of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)[2] and has served as an advisor to the United Nations and the European Union.
He has authored numerous articles on poverty, hunger and aid delivery.
