Tomás Mejía

Tomás Mejía (September 17, 1820 - June 19, 1867) was a Mexican soldier born in Pinal de Amoles, Sierra Gorda, Queretaro. He fought on the side of Emperor Maximilian during the French intervention in 1862.
Tomás Mejía, a Mexican of pure indigenous stock, was executed for treason together with General Miguel Miramón, and Emperor Maximilian of Mexico in 1867.
