Tomáš Zápotočný /tom-ush zah-pot-otch-nee/ (born 13 September 1980) is a Czech center back footballer who currently plays for Italian outfit Udinese Calcio as a defender.

He recently signed for Udinese in the January transfer window for an unconfirmed € 500,000 bid[1][2]. He has come from Czech side Slovan Liberec, in which he was their captain and got their player of the season award 2006–07. He scored his first goal for the club in a 2-1 friendly win over Slovene football club NK Gorica
On 25 February 2007, he played his first Serie A match for Udinese against Parma [3]
He currently has three international caps for his country.
