Tomáš Hübschman (born September 4, 1981) is a Czech football player who plays for Shakhtar Donetsk.

[edit] Sparta Prague
Before joining Shakhtar in the summer of 2004, Hübschman played for Sparta Prague. Hübschman first came to prominence after joining Jablonec on a loan. After gaining postive reviews, he returned to Sparta Prague, where he was a regular in their 02/03 UEFA Champions League run, playing eleven matches. In the 2003/04 season he helped the club to the quarter-final stage of the 03/04 UEFA Champions League and ended the season helping Sparta win the Czech Cup beating fierce rivals Banik Ostrava 2-1.

After several successful seasons in his homeland, Hübschman joined Shakhtar Donetsk, for a reported fee of €3m. Immediately Hübschman has made an impact, becoming a regular in the team and has won 2 league titles in his first two seasons.

Hübschman has represented the Czech Republic at various youth levels and captained his country at the 2001 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Hübschman played for the Czech Republic at the Euro 2004 albeit only a minor role. Hübschman also played in a couple of matches for the Czech Republic in the 2006 World Cup qualification but did not make the final team for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
