Tomáš Galásek (born January 15, 1973 in Frýdek-Místek) is a Czech football player. He is a Holding midfielder who is also strong as a centre back.
Galásek started his career with Banik Ostrava in 1991, before moving to Willem II Tilburg in 1997, and Ajax in 2000. With Ajax he won the national championship twice and the national cup once and played 26 times in the Champions League.
In 1995 he debuted in the Czech Republic national football team and was with the team in the semi-final of the Euro 2004. Until May 2007 he has recorded over 50 caps for his country. He took part in the 2006 FIFA World Cup as captain of the Czech team.
Since 2006 he plays for Nuremberg in the German Bundesliga, after signing a two year deal with German club.
