Tom’s Hardware is an online publication focused on technology that was founded in 1996 by Dr. Thomas Pabst. Tom's Hardware is owned by Bestofmedia Group company, one of the top three online publishers for technology in the world.[1]
Tom's Hardware provides real-time articles, news, price comparisons, videos and reviews on computer hardware and high technology. The site features coverage on CPUs, motherboards, RAM, graphics and displays, storage, and computer peripherals. Tom's Hardware has a forum and featured blogs. A unique aspect of Tom's Hardware is the 'Build your Own' section where readers can learn how to build their own computers. Tom's Hardware readers are tech enthusiasts, high-tech buyers, consumers, information technology decision makers, purchasing influencers, and industry analysts. It is published in the US, UK & Ireland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Russia, China, Taiwan, Sweden and Turkey.

- September 2007 – Company rebrands TwitchGuru to Tom's Games and Gear Digest to Tom's Guide.[3]
- June 2007 – Antoine Boulin appointed CEO of TG Publishing LLC, a Bestofmedia Group company.[4]
- June 2007 – Partnership with John Wiley & Sons to deliver the Universal Command Guide for Operating Systems online.[5]
- April 2007 – TG Publishing LLC and Bestofmedia Group Merger moves the company to the top 3 ranked sites for online technology publications [1]
