[edit] Eternal

Is the flame eternal? The times I visited the park, there was no flame. Taco325i 19:26, 18 August 2005 (UTC)

I think the intent is that it should be eternal, but I suppose that there may have been technical difficulties during the times you visited it.--Bovineone 07:32, 21 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Guards

Is their an article about the Guards of the Tomb?--Azer Red Si? 19:37, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm not aware of any guards at this monument. Perhaps you are thinking of another tomb with a similar name? The Tomb of the Unknowns has continuously posted guards. -- Bovineone 07:09, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

I visited in 1994 and have video of the Army guard pacing back and forth in front of the Tomb. I don't know if it is 24-hour, but at midday there was certainly a guard there.209.253.33.226 16:12, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Are you sure that your video was in Philadelphia? The Arlington (Washington DC) memorial is more well-known for its guards. -- Bovineone 16:58, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
