[edit] Skillful

That's what fellow WGN employee, popular radio personality Bob Collins, dubbed Tom Skilling. I would put this in the article, but it's too obscure. Wahkeenah 03:10, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

There was some legal issue with that name being used by Collins, never mentioned on air that I know of... It is never used for many years after WGN radio moved to Tribune Tower and WGN-TV stayed at Bradley Place.Kidsheaven (talk) 23:13, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
It was just one of Collins' typical self-made nicknames for one of his colleagues. No legal issues. Collins has been gone for 8 years. That's why you haven't heard it for awhile. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 02:42, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Striking accuracy?

[edit] reference or redundant?

I added reference for statement that is also a link at the bottom of the page for Tom Skilling.

Could not find off hand reference in a current location as for Tom's pay, other than I remember the Chicago Sun-Times - Feder - media column mentioning that Tom is the highest paid Chicago Tribune employee. One-Million dollars has been written in the Sun-Times and maybe Tribune as the four highest paid local television news people, each paid around $1-million or more.

Most watched is a question, because it would be ranked number of cable households vs. actual rating of WGN Superstation. According to Sam Zell the new owner this may soon change and the station cable version will become more like TBS, without local news. (recent Chicago Tribune Phil Rosenthal).

I don't have source info so I post it here, to search for later, or if someone else wants to search from here... Kidsheaven (talk) 23:10, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
