The section "and came across a band of locals calling themselves Red Rider. After an audition, they agreed to Cochrane joining the band as lead singer and songwriter, a decision that would change their musical careers." needs more explanation - why did it change their musical careers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.246.171.241 (talk) 12:17, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Wouldn't "album cover of the year" go to the artist responsible for the cover, not to Tom?Mzmadmike 23:06, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Legal comment

The following comment was posted without any reference or source of proof - "He has come under fire from many music fans for lobbying lawmakers to make it easier for record companies to sue people who share music on the internet. Many Canadian artists have also criticised him." Unless someone can provide more information about these "many music fans" and "many Canadian artists" then I think it should be removed.
