Tollbar Business Enterprise and Humanities College is a Business, Enterprise and Humanities College in New Waltham, North East Lincolnshire, England.

A secondary school with a sixth form, it serves 11-18 year olds. The largest school in North East Lincolnshire, it has 1970 pupils .[1] The College lies on the border of North East Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire (East Lindsey), and is one mile south of Grimsby. Students come from Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and surrounding Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire villages. The original school was opened in 1937 for 300 pupils. Further expansion occurred in the 1970s, and has continued.

In July 2002, it was awarded Business and Enterprise College status. In September 2004, it was awarded foundation school status.[2] The sixth form is a partnership with Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education

In May 2008, Principal David Hampson suspended[3] 74 pupils for using the school computers to play a simple game based on the movie [Tron].[4] The game was brought into the school on USB drives and passed between the students. The school also forbids mobile phones or any other electronic equipment.

Some students and parents have often show their disaproval for Hampson. Now only has he turned the school into a prison, forcing parents to use tokens to actually enter the school to pick up their children. He also took away healthy school meals and replaced them with a fast food chain; whilst at the same time filling in the swimming pool to cut costs. Not really a man to promote fitness within children he is more famed for promoting children to believe they should be drones who follow the business path as opposed to expressing their natural talents in life.
