The Tokyo Salamander (Hynobius tokyoensis) is a species of salamander in the Hynobiidae family. It is endemic to Japan. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, freshwater springs, arable land, irrigated land, and canals and ditches. It is threatened by habitat loss.
