Tokyo Medical and Dental University

Tokyo Medical and Dental University (東京医科歯科大学 tōkyō ika shika daigaku?) offers baccalaureate and graduate degrees in medicine, dentistry, and related fields. Located in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, it has campuses in neighboring Chiyoda and in Chiba Prefecture. It was established in 1928 and received university status in 1946. In April 2002 the Center for Education Research in Medicine and Dentistry was established. Tokyo Medical and Dental University (not to be confused with Tokyo Medical University or Tokyo Dental University) is part of Japan's national university system.
