From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tokelau (Tuvalu) is a village on the island of Nanumanga, Tuvalu.
[edit] Population
Tokelau's population is 281, the smaller of Nanumanga's two villages.
[edit] Linguistic background
It may be noted that 'Tokelau' is also the name of a neighbouring territory belonging to New Zealand, with whom Tuvaluan-speakers share linguistic intelligibility, hence the occurrence of the identical place name.
