Talk:Token passing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There is a need to describe the general concept of a token ring, as opposed to any particular implementation such as IEEE 802.5 Token Ring, but this article doesn't do that.
I suggest making Token passing redirect to Token ring, and add a general introduction to the concept to the latter.

- Yup, certainly need to add a general token ring section to whats currently an 802.5-specific article, BUT this is still needed (if it were expanded) to the theory behind token passing systems, and provide links to specific systems - 802.5 of course but also token-buses like ARCNET.--Snori 01:19, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
