Toilet granny
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A toilet granny is a woman who works in public toilets (as a "manager" or "operator") in Eastern European countries. Their purpose is to prevent people stealing toilet paper, which was a scarce commodity during Communist rule.[1] In addition these toilet operators also collect money from customers in pay toilets and clean the toilets.
