Tohoku, Aomori

This article is about the town in Aomori Prefecture. Tohoku is also the name of the region of Japan including Aomori and five other prefectures on the northern part of Honshū island.

Tōhoku (東北町; -machi) is a town located in Kamikita District, Aomori, Japan.

On March 31, 2005 the town of Kamikita was merged into Tōhoku.

In 2003 the town had an estimated population of 10,313 and a population density of 49.77 persons per km². The total area of the town is 207.23 km².
