The Shinjuku Line (新宿線 Shinjuku-sen?) is a subway line of the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation ("Toei") network in Tokyo, Japan. The line lies east-westerly between Motoyawata Station in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture in the east and Shinjuku Station in Shinjjuku in the west. At Shinjuku, most trains continue to Sasazuka Station in Shibuya on the Keiō New Line of Keiō Corporation, with some services continuing to Hashimoto Station in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture via the Keiō and Sagamihara lines of Keiō.

The line applies exceptional rail gauge, 1372 mm, to allow through operations to Keiō network. The line was planned Line 10 in reports of a committee of the then Ministry of Transportation, thus the proper name in the concerning Ministry[1] which is scarcely used is Line 10 Shinjuku Line (10号線新宿線 10gō-sen Shinjuku-sen?).

On maps and signboards, the line is shown in colour yellow-green O. Stations carry the letter S and a two-digit number.
