This is entirely unscientific question of compellingly coincidental timeliness (for me, at least). I just came down this afternoon from a short visit to the North Rim -- my first visit there. It's a still-beautiful experience but visiting the Grand Canyon has grown far less thrilling than it was when I was younger. A persistent haze blocks summertime views of the opposite rim, and views in almost every direction and every time of year have grown steadily less clear. Does anyone have any RELIABLE information on what is happening in Grand Canyon National Park?
