Todosantos is an indie band from Caracas, Venezuela. Stylus Magazine described their album Aeropuerto as "one of the more beguiling, multi-faceted debuts of recent years." Their latest EP Acid Girlzzz is a departure from their previous EP Aeropuerto in that they have incorporated and developed a brand new sound they describe as "Tukky Bass". Whereas Aeropuerto drew more from post punk and samplings of electronic, Acid Girlzzz embraces Miami Bass in its quest to blow your speakers from the low frequencies.
Imagine a world where every song has a corresponding video. When the bass hits, the greens wobble, the reds jiggle and you start seeing a zebra. Normally this is accomplished by taking too much acid, but the tukky bass sound from Todosantos brings this direct to you in the form of pods.
Pods are the combination of music and video into one multimedia experience and are the basis of Todosantos. Their music is meant to be a full sensory experience as the visuals correspond directly with the music being played.
Todosantos is currently in talks to follow up their previous release on Flamin Hotz.
