Todd E. Jones, also known as The New Jeru Poet, is an American music journalist from Edison, New Jersey and currently living in North Plainfield, New Jersey. He was born on August 21, 1975 in Rahway, New Jersey. For college, he attended William Paterson University, but eventually graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1999 with a Bachelor's in English.

He has been a music journalist for over 10 years.
