(30.260997, -95.828048)According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5.5 km²), of which, 2.1 square miles (5.4 km²) of it is land and 0.47% is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 146 people, 56 households, and 33 families residing in the city. The population density was 69.7 people per square mile (26.8/km²). There were 75 housing units at an average density of 35.8/sq mi (13.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 80.82% White, 3.42% African American, 15.75% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 18.49% of the population.
There were 56 households out of which 30.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.6% were married couples living together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.3% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.21.
In the city the population was spread out with 23.3% under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 38.4% from 25 to 44, 23.3% from 45 to 64, and 6.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 124.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 128.6 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $40,313, and the median income for a family was $40,750. Males had a median income of $24,583 versus $21,458 for females. The per capita income for the city was $16,309. There were 6.5% of families and 10.4% of the population living below the poverty line, including 18.2% of under eighteens and 33.3% of those over 64.
