Todd Byrne (born 16 July 1978, in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league player for Hull FC in the Super League competition.
He has previously played for the Sydney Roosters and New Zealand Warriors and his position of choice is at Wing, but can also play Centre and cover Full Back.
Byrne is best remembered for being the player that Scott Sattler cover tackled in the memorable turning point of the 2003 Grand Final.
Byrne has moved to Super League side Hull FC for the 2008 season, which will strengthen their back line options.[citation needed]
