Todd A. Levett

Todd A. Levett (born April 19, 1983 in Shaker Heights, Ohio) is a Democratic political strategist in Washington, DC, currently serving as Advisor for Policy & Outreach on the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security, under the auspices of that Committee's top Democratic Member of Congress, Chairman Bennie G. Thompson of Mississippi.
Since joining the Congressional oversight Committee in October 2005, first as a Congressional policy fellow, Levett has been tasked with a number of oversight responsibilities. He has served as a policy expert for the Democrats on border security programs such as US-VISIT, document and human authentication and biometric technologies, and policy pertaining to the nexus between the Department of Defense's Homeland Defense mission and the responsibilities of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He has also participated in a number of Committee investigations into waste, fraud, and abuse at the Department of Homeland Security.
He is currently responsible for the Committee's global counterterrorism policy portfolio, which includes international affairs, homeland defense, the United States Secret Service, and Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
