Today was Perry Como's 27th and final RCA Victor long-play album of his 40 year music career. This is also the second to last recording ever made by Perry Como, the last being for a Christmas special in 1994.
The song Wind Beneath My Wings, recorded for this LP in 1987, two years before it was a hit for Bette Midler, was meant to be somewhat autobiographical. Como also sung this song some 5 years earlier as a tribute to Como's boyhood idol, Bing Crosby
