Toda Racing Co., Ltd (株式会社戸田レーシング Kabushiki-gaisha Toda Reeshingu?) was established in 1970 in Okayama, Japan as a maintenance company for racing vehicles and engines. Since its inception, company activities have grown to include manufacturing and development of racing engines for various forms of Japanese motorsports, ranging from Formula 3 to GT300. The experience gained in the realm of professional motorsports is applied to all TODA Racing products available to consumers.

With over 30 years of experience, TODA Racing has grown to become one of Japan's premiere race engineering and manufacturing companies. TODA's team of experienced racing engineers use the latest product design, manufacturing, and testing equipment available like the IBM CATIA CAD/CAM/CAT system. (todaracing.com).

1971 • Established in Okayama Japan as a maintenance company of racing cars. • Starts activities in SUZUKA FL Race. Participation in SUZUKA FJ1300 Race.

1978 • Acquired championship in SUZUKA FJ1300 Race (Driver: Kengo Nakamoto) • Moved from FJ1300 to Formula 3.

1979 • Starts maintenance of NOVA TOYOTA 2TG engine. • Starts development of TODA TOYOTA 2TG engine.

1980 • Starts development of TODA F3 Chassis

1981 • Participation in British F3 championship. • Placed second in British F3 championship series.

1982 • Starts development of F2 BMW engine.

1985 • Starts development of TODA TOYOTA 3SG Engine with Bosch fuel injection type. • Participation in All Japan F3 championship series

1986 • Starts development of TODA TOYOTA 3SG with TODA fuel injection type.

1987 • Became champion in All Japan F3 championship series. • Discontinued maintenance of TOYOTA 3SG.

1988 • Starts maintenance of MUGEN MF-204 and starts development of TODA MUGEN MF-204. • Foundation of the F3 racing team SUPERHAKKA Racing team. (F3 driver: Kouji Satou)

1989 • Foundation of F3000 racing team CHERENA Racing team. (F3000 driver: Osamu Nakako) • Starts maintenance of MUGEN MF-308 engine. • Participation in All Japan F3000 championship series and All Japan F3 championship series.

1990 • Participation in All Japan F3 championship series as SUPERHAKKA Racing team. • Introduction of TAKISAWA CNC piston lathe machine. • Introduction of TOYODA machining center.

1991 • Introduction of 3 dimensional coordinate measuring machine. • Introduction of IBM CATIA CAD CAM system. • Introduction of MAZAK CNC multitusk machine. • Participation in All Japan F3 championship series. (F3 driver: Kazuaki Takamura) • TODA Racing team is the first Japanese driver that acquired third place in FUJI International F3 race • SUPERHAKKA Racing team acquired four year consecutive victory in the PANASONIC F3 super cup.

1992 • Establishment of FIGHTEX division. • Expanded product manufacturing division. • Starts development of TODA HONDA F4 engine.

1994~ • Production of TODA HONDA F4 engine and sales.

1996~ • Introduction of TOYADA machining center.

1997~ • Foundation of LIAN TODA Racing team. • Continues development of TODA MUGEN MF-204. • Starts development of NISSAN SR20DET GT300 engine. • Acquired second in All Japan F3 championship series. • Acquired championship in F4 Suzuka series and F4 TI series with TODA HONDA F4 engine.

1998~ • Foundation of TODA Racing team. • Acquired second in All Japan championships. (driver: Hiroki Kato) • Acquired sixth place in MACAU Grand Prix.

1999~ • Team driver was changed from Hiroku Kato to Wagner Ebrahim. • Introduction of TOYODA CNC camshaft grinding machine.

2000~ • Team driver was changed from Wagner Ebrahim to Seija Ara.
