" he fell from a Black Hawk helicopter when the pilot, Cliff Wolcott, dodged a rocket propelled grenade. "

I'm don't think it's right : that's what is shown in the movie Black Hawk Down, but according to others US personnels (Rangers in the Balck Hawk), noone remembers exactly what happend, especially noone remembers nothing about a "RPG dodging". What is sure is that the MH-60 pitched (for unknown reasons) and that consequently Blackburn released the rope and fell.

The witnesses are not sure that Blackburn caught the rope, and it is possible that he missed it. According to the Ranger following Blackburn on the rope, Blackburn had rightly caught the rope, but almost immediatly the Black Hawk pitched and Blackburn fell. Whatever he caught or missed it, he fell from the high of the 'chopper', about 70 ft. [source : Sgt. Matt Eversman ('Josh Hartnett'), in the bonus of the Balck Hawk Down DVD] Rob1bureau

[edit] Merger

Just found that there's an article under PFC Todd Blackburn. I was fixing that page when I discovered this one that pretty much had all my corrections. I'm proposing the merger and I'll probably do it myself when I get around to it. EvilCouch 06:23, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Merge: Both articles are about the same person. - Vicer 12:42, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
