Tobias Sippel (born March 22, 1988 in Bad Dürkheim, Germany) is a German football player with 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the German Second Bundesliga. His position is goalkeeper.

His first experiences as football player Tobias Sippel had in his hometown club SV 1911 Bad Dürkheim. The scouts of first Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern saw his talent so he joined the club. The next seven years he went through most of the youth ranks becoming first goalkeeper in the third League at the age of 17.

After one year in this league he joined the first team in the year 2006 as 3rd keeper behind Jürgen Macho and Florian Fromlowitz. It was the first season after the first squad of FCK had to go to the second league. In the season 2007/2008 he was given the opportunity to become seconds goal keeper behind u-21 national keeper Florian Fromlowitz when Jürgen Macho left Kaiserslautern to play for the Greek top club AEK Athens.

Soon, when Fromlowitz was injured Sippel became first goalkeeper and will stay on this position the next years since his contract goes until 2011.
