Rabbi Tobias Geffen (1 August 1870 - 10 February 1970) was born in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 1870 and immigrated to the United States in 1903. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1910 and served as Rabbi of Shearith Israel Synagogue in Atlanta until 1970. In 1935, Rabbi Geffen approved as Kosher the Coca-Cola formula.
