Toba Spitzer

Toba Spitzer became the first openly lesbian or gay person to head a rabbinical assembly, when she was elected president of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Assembly at the group’s annual convention, in Scottsdale, Arizona.[1]

Spitzer leads Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in West Newton, Massachusetts.[1]
