[edit] Wecome to WikiProject Metalworking
Nice to see a new contributor to the Wikiproject as well as the creation of new articles. I've added Jig grinder to the template and updated the page. And now we have Gear cutting, you're on a roll. Keep up the good work!
I notice that you've renamed the milling cutter, slab to shell, I'll try and dig up a reference but to my knowledge they are known as plain or slab mills (slab because they work on slabs of material). The only shell mill I've come across is a shell end mill. About Milling Cutters describes them as I would. I'll get a photo of a shell end mill for the article, now that it's come up.
Regarding employment, have you asked at a training college? They often have a close relationship with employers and are in the loop when it comes to apprentices. At least that's the case here in Australia. — Graibeard (talk) 23:50, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
I hope you were not "put off" by my discussion of lathes. I was not looking for a challenge or trying to prove a point. My only intention is to openly explore the idea and learn from it. Hopefully we will see more edits from you soon. I already forgot 21:24, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

To continue the project's drive toward FA status for the Paintball article, please review the project news and spend some time going over the article. |
Sources: Articles such as Glossary of paintball terms have been tagged for not citing sources. Be sure to check around for more of these articles, and see if we can find some resources that can validate our information. |
Current priority: The Paintball variations article needs to be synchronized with all other articles that mention variants of paintball games or paintball game types. Remember, to be consistent, that 'variants' are variants such as CTF, while 'game types' are woodsball, speedball, et cetera. |
Here's to give you a welcome into the project! I'm glad to see you aboard, especially since we don't seem to have any other hardcore tourneyballers there and you seem like you've played a bit there. Looking forward to hearing more from you. :) ~ Maximilli, 19:56, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
