"To Hare is Human" is a Bugs Bunny cartoon. It stars Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny. The title is a play on the expression, "To err is human; to forgive, divine."

[edit] Plot

In the beginning we see Wile. E. Coyote putting Bugs Bunny in a bag. Bugs asks "What ya got in the bag, doc?" The coyote goes on explaining about how he is a genius, causing Bugs to get clever and get out of the bag. Then Bugs sticks T.N.T in the bag causing an explosion in Wile E.'s face. Then as Bugs escapes Wile E. runs to the elevator and is blown up again. Then Wile E. invents an electric brain. Then Wile E. Coyote breaks in to the hole where he slips on a banana peel and falls off a cliff. Then we see Bugs making breakfast in which Wile substitutes hand grenades for carrots which come out of the toaster so forcefully that they sail out of the hole and explode in Wile E.'s face. Then he uses a plunger to get him out of the hole and Bugs uses a pipe to cause Wile E. to get sucked into the hole himself. Then while Bugs is vacuuming his house the Coyote slips a T.N.T. stick into the vacuum cleaner. However, Bugs empties the dust into where the Coyote is hiding. Finally, Wile E. places a booby trap on the carrot patch in which grabbing a certain carrot would allow a boulder to fall. But unknown to Bugs, he safely grabs the carrot. Wile E. lets the trap go loose and runs back to his lab. Then Wile E. ask the brain what to do which tells him to take his medicine which he does then after that Bugs says "Of course the real beauty of this machine is that it has one moving part" and it ends there.

[edit] Censorship

ABC: Wile E. looking into his sack and being blasted in the face by the detonating TNT inside of the sack, Wile E. suffering another dynamite explosion in his portable elevator, two hand grenades dropped by Wile E. into Bugs' toaster popping prematurely into a position beside Wile E. and exploding there, and the lit dynamite stick that Wile E. placed in Bugs' vacuum cleaner exploding in the trash can where Wile E. is hiding and into which Bugs dumped the contents of his vacuum cleaner bag, were all removed from this cartoon.
