To Buy a Gun was the first single from Idiot Pilot's debut album Strange We Should Meet Here. The single was released on the March 10, 2005 and came in two formats, CD and 12" vinyl. There are three additional tracks with exclusive remixes from Her Space Holiday and Jel, plus the song "Moerae (The Locust)".
