your afd nom's
Please be aware that twinkle tends to choke on these; it's probably best to do by hand. thanks! Ironholds (talk) 14:34, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
AfD closure
When you uncontroversially close an AfD closure next time can you make sure you sign the result with the four tildes as you would otherwise? Thanks. Regards, WilliamH (talk) 16:57, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Vandal
Thanks, seems pretty innocuous compared to some of the onslaughts I've had, but I agree that a watching brief is appropriate. Jimfbleak (talk) 14:45, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Tags
As long as the "hang on" tag gets left, then the speedy still appears on the Speedy Deletion list for action. So removing the tag itself doesn't really matter. But anyway, I usually find that it is not worth getting into a battle about these things of replacing the tags. Waiting an hour or two is often the best idea as it also gives people a chance to upgrade the article and show notability etc, which is very important. Another idea is to go the WP:PROD and WP:AFD route. --Slp1 (talk) 02:07, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Dear Mr. / Mrs. Tnxman,
I just created the article "Antihumanism (Medicine)".

What do You think about it ?

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laura Shelton
Hi Tnxman307,
I've reverted your close of this AfD as there does not seem to be any consensus for a redirect. Please keep in mind that XfD closures need to be made based on the policy-based consensus presented in the discussions--while I understand that you were trying to strike a balance between the "merge" and "delete" comments, you must also consider that no one in the discussion had yet suggested this as a remedy. I've reopened and relisted the AfD, so please feel free to add your comments. Thanks! --jonny-mt 01:08, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I understand what you're saying. I closed the debate as the discussion between RGTraynor and Utepsong seemed to agree on a redirect. It looked like a solid solution, so I was bold and made the edit. However, if more discussion is needed, that isn't a problem at all. TN‑X-Man 01:59, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I get what you're saying, but you have to remember that User:Dhartung made a comment in support of outright deletion. Closing an AfD as a result of a gentlemen's agreement is the equivalent of withdrawing the nomination (with the implied or explicit consent of the nominator, of course), which can't be done once there are good-faith comments in favor of deletion--after all, doing so would amount to completely discounting any deletion opinions regardless of their merits. --jonny-mt 02:45, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Gamma Fleet and G4
You recently nominated Gamma Fleet for speedy deletion under speedy criterion G4. However, there was no previous deletion discusion for it and the speedy was invalid. I just thought I'd give you a heads up on this, so you won't make the mistake in the future. Cheers. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 16:12, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Zach Dodson deleted, restored
Hello. I deleted the thing, then put it back. The founding of Featherproof Books is an assertion of significance, and he seems to have some coverage in verifiable sources. Dlohcierekim 21:19, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hah, they're both gone now. I just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to PROD or AFD. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 00:45, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Re. speedy tagging, new page patroll
Hi,
When you tag a page for speedy with twinkle, does it not tag the new page as patrolled? Only I was looking through new pages, and found some had already been tagged. Cheers, -- Chzz ► 00:23, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have greatly improved the article and removed the deletion notice with an explanation. Emperor001 (talk) 15:45, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

You asked for assistance. See my comment there, and the simplest thing is to withdraw the nomination. DGG (talk) 20:28, 31 May 2008 (UTC).. Thanks . DGG (talk) 15:54, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Audi R8 TDI Le Mans

Many thanks for the pointers for fixing the delete nomination process for Audi R8 TDI Le Mans. I knew there was something wrong with my initial nomination, but I just couldn't get my head round it to sort it. Thanks again. -- Teutonic_Tamer (talk to Teutonic_Tamer) 13:09, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
WP:HAU
Hello yet again. I regretfully inform you that the bot we were using to update the user status at Wikipedia:Highly Active Users, SoxBot V, was blocked for its constant updating. With this bot out of operation, a patch is in the works. Until that patch is reviewed and accepted by the developers, some options have been presented to use as workarounds: 1) Qui monobook (not available in Internet Explorer); 2) User:Hersfold/StatusTemplate; 3) Manually updating User:StatusBot/Status/USERNAME; or 4) Not worry about it and wait for the patch to go through, which hopefully won't take long. If you have another method, you can use that, too. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Useight (talk) 18:00, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Rollback
I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Just in case Twinkle breaks down. :) Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the reverts!
Thank you for the vandalism reverts on my user page. It would appear that 68.92.206.66 (talk · contribs) is one of the many (see Cat:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Mariam83) IP socks of banned editor Mariam83 (talk · contribs). --Kralizec! (talk) 12:39, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Living Liberally
Hi Tnxman, thanks for trying to help improve the Living Liberally page I recently created by putting tags on it. However, as you didn't write anything on the talk page, it's harder for me to correct whatever problems you saw with it. I would be grateful for your assistance in making this article better. Thank you. -GlamdringCookies (talk) 14:36, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for adding the reflist bit; I'd never done that from scratch before and was looking up how to do it just as you added it. Think the article merits removal of the unreferenced and original research tags now? -GlamdringCookies (talk) 18:24, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Susan Miller Rag
please see this page again, or visit its talk page. you'll find that it is notable, because it was infact released, however not as a single as indicated why it was up for deletion. Corythepaperboy (talk) 02:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Morten Keiser-Nielsen
I note that you tagged Morten Keiser-Nielsen as CSD-G3 ("Pure vandalism"). I assume this was in error; while he may not meet WP:BIO, that's for AFD to decide - it certainly wasn't any kind of speedy candidate, let alone vandalism. While I can't read Danish, it's obvious from the context that he is some kind of tennis professional. – iridescent 02:16, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I assure you, I was not trying to cause a disruption. I could not find any info on this person and assumed it was a pure hoax, speedy-able under G3 as blatant misinformation. TN‑X-Man 04:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- Don't worry, wasn't accusing you of disruption. Remember that hoax isn't a speedy deletion criteria, though! (The "blatant misinformation" provision in CSD G3 is the "Eric is the king of Africa and was the first man on the moon" type of pages, not pages where there's any possibility of it being true - we have the prod/AFD processes to give people time to explain why it's not a hoax.) Hope that helps... – iridescent 13:04, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
