[edit] MobyGames
I realize MobyGames is a reasonably respected website, but it's a bit distressing to see how many links you've added to that website. It really looks like that you work for MobyGames or are in some way affiliated with them. It might be helpful if you made other constructive edits besides just adding external links, as that looks very controversial. Chicken Wing 23:50, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- I do not work for MobyGames and I am not affiliated with them in any ways. If you noticed I have added MobyGames links mostly to game stub pages. Game stub pages are usually quite uninformative without screenshots. That is why I have added those links. Do you consider this reasonable? --The NeveR SLeePiNG 09:36, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds fine. I've had quite a hard time with spammers lately, and I wanted to try to make sure this wasn't just another elaborate effort to market a website. Sometimes even when people aren't affiliated with a specific website, they're so obsessed with it that they're compelled to boost its profile by adding links all over Wikipedia. Chicken Wing 19:28, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding indiscriminate links to Mobygames. There is an ongoing discussion Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#MobyGames_policy.3F about these links, many of which lead to less content than is contained on the related Wikipedia article. Please review your links and consider which are really appropriate under WP:EL. Continuing to add Mobygames links that contain little or no content will probably be viewed as spam WP:SPAM. I encourage you to contribute to the ongoing discussion before continuing your pattern of editing. Nposs 01:53, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shadows of Mordor
Please reconsider your decision to link to the Underdogs site given that the entry concerned appears to contain a possible copyright violation ShakespeareFan00 12:42, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- It has been added by someone else, I just moved it to the external links section and replaced it with a template. See: Diff --The NeveR SLeePiNG 20:53, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- Note that a recent debate about the deletion of the {{hotu}} template resulted in it being kept, and therefore it can be used. Use with discretion, of course, and particularly for those games that are freeware, or where the HOTU page has moer information than the Wikipedia page. >Radiant< 09:56, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
