TNBC (Teen NBC) was NBC's Saturday morning block of television shows geared toward teenagers and young adults. It ran from 1993 until 2002, when it was replaced by the Discovery Kids on NBC programming block. The idea for TNBC sprang from the popularity of Saved by the Bell. This ultimately persuaded NBC to cancel animated programs in favor of live action teen-oriented shows on Saturday mornings.
