[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!
Hello Tmrobertson, welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips:
- Take a look at the Simplified Ruleset.
- Read the Tutorial, How to edit a page and the Manual of Style.
- Create a User page.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Add yourself to the New user log.
- Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.
- Be bold!
- Use the Show preview button
- Provide an Edit summary.
If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alphax τεχ 09:14, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- A texan who moved away to OU - it breaks my heart. At least you still love Blue Bell ice cream. Seriously, I see from my watchlist that you have taken a little swing through UT related articles. I reverted your changes to Texas Longhorn Athletics because we have discussed this issue of biggest rivals and reached a consensus. Part of the Talk history is on that page, part of it is on the main UT talk archives. I left all your other changes. If I may ever provide any sort of assistance here, please let me know. I'll gladly help you bring the OU article up to speed if you want. Right now, some of us are helping out the poor aggies. :-) Hook 'em Horns! Johntex\talk 08:13, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

- "Burnt Orange Wikipedia Platoon" - I like the sound of that. It would be a good name for a Wiki-Portal, I think. I have made a few edits to OU and to Oklahoma Sooners. There wasn't even a mention of the Ruf/Neks. I hope my changes pass judgement. I'm getting tired, so I'm off to count Bevo's jumping over fences. I'll see if I can contribute more another day. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:OU-tx2006.gif
Thank you for uploading Image:OU-tx2006.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
